​   Jerry has over 32 years of combined experience in executive protection and Military service.  In 1992 he joined the United States Army.  During his service in the US Army, Jerry quickly advanced up the ranks and has earned multiple awards, ribbons and commendations.  Jerry's deployments include  JTF-6 counter drug operations supporting D.E.A on Mexico border 1995,  Operation Desert Spring Pre invasion Iraq 2002,  Operation Enduring Freedom Afghanistan 2009, Operation Enduring Freedom Afghanistan 2010.   He completed his honorable service to his country and transitioned directly into Private Military Contracting, providing Mobil Protection as a MRAP detail team leader for Department of State personnel throughout Kandahar and Helmand province Afghanistan.  In 2016, Jerry transitioned as a Department of State security contractor into the Private Sector.   Jerry Provided Close Protection for Dignitaries, State and Government political figures and Fortune 500 clients at political venues across the country.  Jerry recently conducted countless missions in Eagle Pass, Brownsville and El Paso Texas in direct support of "Operation Lone Star" Texas border.

  After many years working multiple contracts, Jerry identified the need for a higher-level service provided to the client.  Making safety and confidentiality of the Client priority.  He observed that the protection industry as a whole undervalued their guys and was seriously lacking the integrity, honor and foremost professionalism required amongst many of the agencies.  This led Jerry to develop his vision of a company consisting of Professionals more focused on the exclusive needs of the client, hence the birth of Apex Risk Mitigation LLC.
