Jerry has over 32 years of experience in protection and service. In 1992 he joined the United States Armed Forces. During his service in the US Army, Jerry quickly advanced rank and has earned multiple awards, ribbons and commendations many related to multiple deployments to South Asia while in Afghanistan. In 2011 he completed his honorable service to his country and transitioned directly into Private Military Contracting, providing Executive Protection for Department of State personnel in Afghanistan. In 2016 Jerry transitioned as a Department of Defense Contractor into the Private Sector, providing Close Protection for Dignitaries, State and Government political figures and Fortune 500 clients.  

  After many years working multiple contracts, Jerry identified the need for a higher level service provided to the client. Safety of the Client at all times being number one, he observed that the protection industry was seriously lacking the integrity, honor and foremost professionalism required amongst many of the agents.  This led Jerry to develop his vision of a company consisting of Professionals more focused on the exclusive needs of the client, hence the birth of Apex Risk Mitigation LLC.
